What is a vehicle pre-approval?

A pre-approval is a first look at what you can borrow and what a payment would look like, before you go shopping. It is not a full credit application and it is not a commitment. It just means you know your number before you fall in love with a vehicle.

Will a pre-approval hurt my credit score?

No. Starting a pre-approval here does not affect your credit score. We talk with you and get your permission before a full credit check is run.

Can I get pre-approved with bad credit or no credit history?

Often, yes. Past bankruptcy, a consumer proposal, collections, or simply never having borrowed before are all things we see regularly. Being new to Canada is not a barrier by itself. Each situation is reviewed on its own, so the honest answer is that it depends on your circumstances.

Do I need a down payment?

Not always. Some approvals need money down and some do not. It depends on the lender, the vehicle and your situation. Tell us what you have available and we will work with it rather than around it.

Can I get pre-approved if I am outside Abbotsford?

Yes. We work with people across British Columbia. Most of our customers are in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Langley and the wider Fraser Valley, but where you live does not stop you from starting.

What happens after I am pre-approved?

We talk about what you want, then we find it. That can be a vehicle on our current list or one we go looking for. When the vehicle is settled, we finish the financing and the purchase with you.
